Sonic Resonance: Event for Heart, Muscles and Breath

Collaboration with Stelarc.

2024

Sonic Resonance was a live performance developed in collaboration with performance artist Stelarc, exploring the relationship between bodily movement, physiological signals, and sonic environment. During the performance, Stelarc’s gestures and biometric activity shaped a continuously evolving musical field, while I developed and performed the live electronic sound environment accompanying the action. The work investigated the body not as a fixed instrument, but as a shifting site of perception and temporal experience.

Boiling Mind

Dance performance with audience physiology.

2020-2023

Boiling Mind is a performance project exploring sensation-sharing between dancers and audience members. During the work, audience participants wear heart rate and eye-tracking sensors, generating physiological data that becomes part of the stage environment through live visualization and sound transformation.

I composed a musical environment designed to be reshaped in real time by the audience’s collective physiological state. Rather than treating these signals as direct control inputs, the system allows subtle fluctuations in attention and bodily rhythm to influence pacing, density, and spatial texture. Music and movement unfold within a shared temporal field shaped by both performer and observer.

The work investigates how often imperceptible internal states may become gently externalized through sound and light, creating a distributed relationship between body, perception, and performance space.
